Accounting Manager

Lead and manage the accounting team: Setting clear objectives, organizing team workflows, and driving performance through regular check-ins, coaching, and upskilling initiatives.
Oversee all accounting operations - including general, auxiliary, and analytical accounting, ensuring compliance with French GAAP and group standards.
Ensure monthly and annual closings, prepare statutory and consolidated financial statements (including tax filings) and ensure accurate financial reporting (local GAAP and US GAAP).
Ensures compliance with internal controls (SOX), accounting and tax regulations. Manages audits, legal documentation and fiscal obligations.
Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes, tools, and systems (SAP FI, etc.) to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with evolving regulations.
Act as key liaison with internal departments, external auditors, tax advisors, and banks, ensuring consistent communication and issue resolution.
Provide strategic support to the Finance Director: Monitor treasury activities, supervise legal documentation and contribute to group-wide transformation projects.

Strong, people-oriented leader with proven experience in managing, motivating, and developing high-performing accounting teams.
Expert in French and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting under French GAAP and US GAAP.
Excellent communicator and change leader, capable of aligning teams, influencing stakeholders, and promoting process improvements across functions.
Technically proficient, with strong command of SAP (FI/MM/CO/C4C) and advanced Excel skills.
Proficiency in English and French (oral and written), enabling effective collaboration in an international environment.
