For our Public Affairs team in Brussels we are looking for a

Senior Manager (m/f/d) Public Affairs EU

Your Tasks

The Public Affairs department at the Hansgrohe Group positions the company as a proactive and constructive partner for associations, policymakers, authorities, and other key stakeholders. As Senior Manager Public Affairs EU, you will represent the interests of our globally recognized brand, rooted in Germany’s Black Forest. Reporting directly to the Lead Public Affairs, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Hansgrohe's engagement on EU-level policy and regulatory matters. 

Your main tasks include:

  • Monitor and evaluate political and regulatory developments at EU level using digital tools for issue and stakeholder management
  • Develop and execute advocacy and stakeholder engagement strategies, including press and social media communication
  • Draft and coordinate targeted position papers, statements, and other political publications tailored to specific audiences
  • Establish and maintain relationships with EU institutions and other relevant stakeholders including the scientific community, think tanks and non-governmental organizations
  • Prepare briefings and materials for executives and the department head for political meetings
  • Represent the company at events and association meetings
  • Conceive, plan and implement political events

Your Profile

  • University degree in law, political science, administration or economics
  • At least ten years of professional experience in public affairs or politics with a strong network in Brussels
  • Sound understanding of the dynamics of political processes and know how to contribute as a responsible and communicative networker at the right moment
  • Profound knowledge of economic, sustainability and housing policies, ideally in the area of energy efficiency and water in buildings
  • Additional knowledge on product safety and chemicals legislation would be a plus
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and potentially German and a willingness to travel in Europe and attend evening events
