For our IT & Digital team in Istanbul we are looking for a

Team Lead (m/f/d) IT Service Delivery Center

Your Tasks

  • Disciplinary leadership of the local IT team, including long‑term team growth, performance management, and employee development
  • Close collaboration with local functions (HR, Finance, Site Management) and acting as a cultural bridge between the German headquarters and the local team
  • Matrix coordination with HQ specialist departments to align priorities, roadmaps, and technical decisions
  • Full budget ownership, including planning, cost control, and management of external cost centers
  • Vendor management: Operational steering of external service providers and freelancers, ensuring seamless integration into internal processes
  • Quality & performance assurance through continuous monitoring of SLAs, KPIs, and deliverable standards; proactive escalation and corrective action where needed
  • Ensuring stable IT service delivery (support, operations, development) in line with HQ expectations and adherence to international standards (e.g., ITIL, agile frameworks)
  • Strategic sourcing & team development to build a sustainable talent mix and foster a high‑performing, loyal team culture through coaching and retention initiatives

Your Profile

  • At least 5 years of solid experience in an IT environment with proven leadership responsibility, ideally managing teams of around 10 employees. Experience in a shared service center or an international corporate environment is strongly desired
  • Strong expertise in managing external IT service providers, including defining quality requirements contractually and enforcing them through operational measures such as code reviews and quality gates
  • Broad generalist knowledge of IT infrastructure and software development, enabling confident and accurate evaluation of technical deliverables
  • Business‑fluent Turkish at C2 or native level, essential for leading the local team and negotiating with partners
  • Fluent English in written and spoken form as the company language, with German considered an advantage but not mandatory
  • A mindset that combines strong quality awareness aligned with German quality standards and the flexibility needed to navigate a dynamic local market
  • A personality marked by assertiveness, able to represent company interests clearly and address performance issues with external partners when required
  • Strong communication and diplomatic skills for effective stakeholder management with both local leadership and the German headquarters
  • A hands‑on, detail‑oriented working style with the willingness to stay close to operations if needed
